Chronicles of Kuru Woman: Krishna’s Sister by Priyanka Bhuyan is a Mythological fiction story of Subhadra who is the sister of Lord Krishna and Balaram, wife of Arjuna, and mother of Abhimanyu. Mostly everyone has either seen or has known about Mahabharata and the story, the war and everything related to that. Krishna’s Sister is a story of Subhadra, from her perspective and some stories or parts which happened before and after Mahabharata which people might not be aware about.

The story is unique and different as in my opinion there are parts which I knew earlier but then there parts which I really didn't have idea about. Like for example the story after the war how did everything come to an end and as this story was about Subhadra so what happened to her.

One thing I really liked about this story was how in a wonderful way a Woman's strong side was shown. Even after losing almost everything in the war she was still standing strong and powerful that at the end she became an inspiration for everyone.

This book is kind of an eye opener to her life, the way she lived even though her life was field with storms and that at sometime did make her lose hope but ones she stood up no one could break her, that showed how strong her character was individually and what an inspiration she was.

I could feel her pain, her anger, her struggle, her problems, her happy moments as a daughter, as a wife, as a mother. Till the end I was completed connected to the story. Usually while reading Mythology books people get bored but not even ones I felt bored. I was just flowing with the story and feeling all the emotions, every inch of it as the story was going on.

I am very thankful to the Author for highlighting Subhadra's story and to show us a strong character like her. This story will be an inspiration for me. Recommend to everyone especially to the Mythological lovers and those who are interested in Mythology (like me)  ☺❤
