When The Reading Cells Activated
Hello!
Let me start with how did I become a book lover and started writing reviews.
2019 was a year in which I experienced a lot of things. One was the reactivation of my reading cells 😂 Actually since my childhood I have been into reading books but it was a normal interest, if I was in a mood I would read if not I won't and my life was going on that way. After completing my Degree in 2015 I got my first job and I started working as a full time Graphic Designer. It was all ok but as the time was passing by my stress level was increasing. By that time I almost stopped reading books as I use to think I hardly had any time. Then in 2017 I switched to another company, the shift was afternoon shift, here things got even more worst, I completely stopped reading also my stress and anger kept increasing day by day. At times I use to think what was wrong with me but I didn't understand that time. Even though I stopped reading books during that time I still use to buy books just so that if I ever start reading some day. Music did help me a lot to release my stress but somewhere I use to think something was missing. Work pressure and deadlines were only in head all the time. Due to bad health condition and health problems my Nani passed away on August 2019. Also with that I decided to leave the company as the project I was working in got rolled-off so I decided to leave. After leaving the company I was desperately finding a job but when I use to be at home I use to feel bored. Then one day while I was cleaning my drawer I saw few books and after that all of a sudden something triggered me. I instantly felt like reading the books and I did that. The first book which I read was Love A Little Stronger by Preeti Shenoy. Ones I started reading I couldn't stop myself from completing it. I finished that book in one day. Next day again I felt like reading so I listened to my heart. From there onwards I started reading on regular basis. By November 2019 I got a new job but this time I didn't stop reading I kept continuing it. This was a morning shift so at night I started reading books also I created an account on Instagram and wrote reviews about how I felt after reading the book. Slowly I realised that it is not just working as a stress buster but also it is helping me in my communication and confidence as well. When you work in a full time job work pressure and deadlines are obvious but reading was like a magic in my life. And yes I does work like a magic during stressful days. I finally found out that this was the thing which was missing in my life. As 2019 was over I read 20 books in total (including Kindle)
