One S'more Summer a story about love, friendship, trust, betrayal, ups and downs, self realization and most importantly camp and camp life. When I think about my childhood summer memory or should I say my teenage life I only attended Field trips either one day trip or 2 nights and 3 days trip that also when I was in 11th and 12th. I never got a chance to go to a camp but thorough this book I experienced what it is like to attend a summer camp.
Georgica Goldstein aka Gigi has been in love with Joshua since she was 9 years old. He has been dating her best friend Alicia for a long time. Gigi never confesses it in front of Alicia as she never wanted her friendship to get effected because of her feelings (though Alicia knew that Gigi liked Joshua). The twist come when Alicia leave for London and then she decided to Break up with Joshua and move on. Soon after the break up Gigi and Joshua gets close and they start dating. But after 1 year Alicia decides to come back into Joshua life, after this everything turns up side down.
After Alicia comes back from London they decide to get married, also Gigi lose her Fashion Designing job. Losing her job was not that much a problem but the marriage and also the guilt of not telling her best friend about their relationship makes her life miserable. To get out of all the mess she involves herself into the summer camp were as a child she use to go with Alicia and Joshua, now becoming the Head Counselor. She thinks by taking this opportunity she will forget all her guilt and sadness but this decision makes her life more hard as when she goes to the camp she remembers everything what happened during the time she attended the summer camp.
When things finally were coming on track she meet Perry the handsome, good looking, charming, the Head Counselor of the boys who has won the cup 3 times and is read to win it again. At the beginning he irritates her and tries to distract her as much as he can but eventually things get better between both. Well just better or more then better? Who will win the Cup this year? Will Gigi ever confess in front of Alicia about her and Joshua relationship? Will Gigi ever be happy again? Will she ever be able to free herself from the guilt? Who Perry is apart from being charming? To know all this read this sweet, summer delighted book.
I really liked the story, very simple yet it gives a meaningful message. I loved all the characters especially Jamie who was a Fashion Designer and Gigi's good friend who helped her through tough time. While reading this book I got a strong vibes of summer camp I really wished I too had attend in my childhood. There are lots more aspect in this story, if I disclose everything there wont be a excitement to read. So all over I really liked the story also I enjoyed reading it. Recommended to all those who want to experience summer camp feels and love, you will surly enjoy reading this book 😊❤️
