The driver’s voice became muffled after I saw the lady from my window. She looked exactly like me; a mirror image. I shook my head. “Jesus!”

These lines gave me chills down my spine. As you can understand, the Protagonist is Erika. After losing her parents and brother in a tragic car accident, Erika moved to London to get rid of all the bad memories, especially her frantic nightmares and disturbing hallucinations. After moving to London, her life starts to settle with Lara, her best friend with whom she shares an apartment and all her feelings, more like a sister also she starts working at a flower shop.

After having a break up with her boyfriend, Erika meets Ethan (as insisted by Lara) at first, Erika is not impressed with Ethan, but gradually they fall in love and get married. Everything looks good at the beginning, but soon things start getting complicated between the two. Erika starts hearing strange sounds with unusual voices which, leads to an unexpected twist which will startle you.

What was the unexpected twist which changed Erika's life forever? Who was Lara? And did Ethan exist, or was it her imagination?  Plunge yourself into the story of Erika, were it shocks you, twist your mind, and terrify your soul.

Thriller/Mystery/Suspense is one of my most favorite genres, so Erika was a treat and treasure for me. The beginning, the climax, and then the ending gave me goosebumps. I was thrilled and shocked at the end. The story was gripping, which made my interest develop more and more as the story was unfolding.

In conclusion, I loved the story, it kept me hooked till the end, and I kept wondering what will happen next in the story. The cover was intense, which was giving the feeling of suspense, and the story, the characters were outstanding. Recommended to those who love and are interested in Thriller/Mystery/Suspense genres, this book is a treasure that shouldn't be missed by anyone. ๐Ÿ˜Š❤️
