Before I write anything about the book, the first thing I will mention is the cover. How intense, dramatic, and thrilling it is. Yes, its only a red color tape but just looking at it gave me the feeling of suspense. So that was a bonus point for the book. Now coming to the book, Spies, Lies & Red Tape is a Spy-Military-Political Fiction Thriller based on the Indian Subcontinent.

The book takes off with an introduction to all the characters, then a little brief of the Indo-Pak War and Insurgency in Jammu & Kashmir. The main story begins with an aircraft hijack of the Indian Prime Minister and her team. Then a background story leading to the present situation.

Well, I don't understand politics, so I wasn't sure about reading this book. But after reading the description, I decided to read as it is a mix of thriller/mystery/suspense, which are one of my most favorite genres.

What I liked about this book is how detailed and informative this book is, which has a brief history of India. Till the end, I was hooked, as the climax, and then the ending kept me engaged. The language is lucid, easy to understand. The author has beautifully described all the characters and the story. As the story unfolds, it becomes more and more engaging. In conclusion, I liked the story, and I had a wonderful time reading it. Recommend to those who are interested in politics and suspense stories, you will surely enjoy reading this book. 😊❤️
