Being a poetry lover, I can never say no to this genre. I have a special place inside my heart when its about poetry. So it was a big yes for Song Of A Soul Man as well. Song Of A solo Man is a collection of 46 illustrated poems, talking about different phases of a person's life when they get married.

These poems made me very emotional. As written in the description, its a book for everyone, and yes it is a book for all. In the beginning, you might feel it is focusing on the man's perspective, but as you keep reading the book, it not just focuses on the men but also the women as well.

At times even if you try to make everything possible to work, either by being silent, but it only creates more misunderstanding. There are points in the book where the author has talked about silence where it kills him, and I felt that, as having a fight with a loved one, and then they stop talking to you, it kills you. It's like a slow poison, where you don't understand how to get out of it.

While reading the book, I felt the pain, the loneliness, and how miserable a situation can make you. Especially when you fight with your loved ones.

I loved all the poems, they are amazing. I highly appreciate the author, how beautifully he has described the feelings, and how incredible the poems. Recommended to all the poetry lovers, who love to read short poems, you will surely enjoy reading it. 😊❤️
