This book is about the journey of two women (Kismat And Karma) who are depicted as modern-day Krishna and Arjuna.

Karma receives a prestigious scholarship to study in London, but the love for her mother pulls her back. Her mother passes away soon after, and Karma carries the guilt of not being able to save her. She falls into depression.

Kismat spends most of her youth shifting to and fro between India and America and later discovers that she has been diagnosed with cancer and has only six months left to live.

Destiny brings the two women together in New Delhi. They become friends, but more importantly become each other's strengths. There is a subtle wordplay on their names, in context to karma yoga in the holy Gita.

Overall, I liked the story, and I highly appreciate the author for penning a story on the lives of women. It made me smile, sob, and gave me an authentic depiction of friendship between two very different women. This is a book that shouldn't be missed. 😊❤️
