Every child deserves love and care, especially in their growing years, but unfortunately, Krista's childhood was all about abuse. From having an abusive father to a helpless mother, Krista had a traumatic childhood. She was severely punished for the wrong things she does. Instead of being pampered, she was punished in front of everyone. Her mother decided to leave them and goes to the USA to live with her sister. Now all responsibility comes to Krista, she has to protect her siblings as a sister and a mother.
Krista and her siblings move to the USA, after that everything changes. From the islands of the Philippines-to, the United States of America, Krista's journey from an abusive childhood to turning into a strong woman is what the story all about.
Her transformation was heart-touching. While reading I could feel her pain, the trauma she felt. I highly appreciate the author for penning down her story and giving a strong message on how to live even after all the suffering. The transformation to healing herself was written so beautifully that I couldn't stop my tears. This is not just an inspiring or motivational story but it is a story about the healing of a body-mind and soul. I highly recommend this book to everyone.😊❤️
